A Little About My Journey...
Hi, I’m Teresa. Before I trained in counselling and psychotherapy, I worked in healthcare for over 11 years. I’ve always cared about people—how we cope, how we heal, how we make sense of things when life gets hard. But it was my own journey that really led me down this path.
A few years ago, I had a serious health scare—one that changed everything. I came through COVID, but barely. And in the stillness that followed, I knew something had to shift. I couldn’t go back to the same pace, the same pressure. I needed to live differently—more connected, more in tune with myself and the world around me.
That experience opened the door to something deeper. I was guided (quite literally) to begin training in shamanic healing. I signed up, and the very next week, I found my forever home: a pre-famine cottage on a piece of land steeped in Irish heritage, complete with a faerie fort. That place, and the journey it started, is now woven into everything I do. I honour the land. I work with energy. I listen to what’s not always said out loud.
Alongside that, I returned to study, completing a learning journey that started years earlier, obtaining an honours degree in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy with ICPPD in Athlone. My approach now brings together everything I’ve learned—both formally and through lived experience.
I work with adults and couples who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or just not themselves. And whether we’re talking through grief, navigating trauma, or gently working with energy and intuition, my job is never to fix or diagnose. It’s to hold space. To walk beside you. To help you trust the process.

- Honours Degree in Holistic Counselling & Psychotherapy (ICPPD, Athlone)
- Accredited Member of IACP (Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy)
- 11+ years of experience working in the healthcare sector
- Reiki Master
